Ajit Menon
Ajit Menon – Author, Philanthrope, and a unique Nation builder in his own right, has contributed at CXO levels in over five Industries in the last three decades. He worked in very senior leadership roles both in Operations and the functional departments before deciding that he had had enough of his cushy corporate job and decided to follow his passion for writing.
Today, as an author, Ajit Menon is rated in the ‘Top 12 inspiring writers of 2023’.
Ajit grew up listening to stories from his father, who is a retired intelligence officer. Inspired by the stories he had heard while growing up, he now classifies his books under the ‘Real Reel Book’ category as the stories he writes are inspired by ‘real’ life incidents, and his book’s narration feels like watching a ‘film reel.’ His first book, ‘The Panther’s Ghost – The Beginning’ published by Bloomsbury India, was a best seller in the Indian Spy genre. Rated as the ‘Top -15 must-read books’ for 2023, the book is inspired by real-life incidences of Indian covert operatives who proactively execute false flag missions in enemy states following India’s new Defensive Offence doctrine.
Anil Verma
An advertising professional with a career spanning 24 years with TBWA, Rediffusion, Contract, Ogilvy andDDB Mudra, Anil has travelled the road to success the hard way.Born in a modest household from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, Anil comes from a family with an armed forces background.
Having grown up in different parts of the country, thanks to the defence background, Anil’s understanding of the real Indian way of life is reflected in his style of writing stories and songs. With a firm Uttar Pradesh grounding in Hindi, and a close observer of the real Indian life in the hinterland, Anil believes writing takes on a different flavour when stories are written in Hindi. Having worked as a Creative Head for some the most well-established Advertising agencies, his Ads, jingles, and TV commercials are soul touching. This led to an invitation from the Indian film industry and his debut came in the form of writing situational songs for the acclaimed Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Tanhaji, the unsung Warrior’. All the three songs for the film, ‘Ghamand kar’, ‘Shankara’ and ‘Tinak Tinak’ went on to become super hits. Anil also delivered hits in ‘The Big Bull’ and ‘BHUJ’ and was recently recognised as the ‘Emerging Lyricist of 2023’.
